DALLAS - The coach of a Texas Christian Academy's girl's basketball team has been fired after refusing to apologize for a 100-0 blowout victory.

Coach Micah Grimes told reporters over the weekend that he had nothing to be sorry for, and that his team played with "honor and integrity."

The school apologized after the Jan. 13 victory over the Dallas Academy, a school for girls with academic and behavioral problems.

Coach Grimes sent out an e-mail over the weekend saying he disagreed with the decision to issue an apology.

He says he doesn't know if his firing was a result of the win or the statement he issued contradicting the school.
