ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) - Divers have recovered the bodies of three men who disappeared more than 11 years ago while fishing on Flaming Gorge Reservoir, along the Wyoming-Utah border.

Mack Doust, Skip Lords and Rick Nelson disappeared on December 31, 1995, after they took a boat out to fish on the part of the reservoir known as Holmes Crossing.

Searchers looked for the men off and on for about four months, but poor conditions often interrupted the searches. The last search was called off in late April 1996.

However, earlier this year, their bodies were spotted during a dive training exercise. Local, state and federal officials returned to the site, in about 130 feet of water about one mile northeast of the Holmes Crossing boat ramp, and recovered the bodies late last month.

Autopsies showed no signs of foul play, and Sweetwater County Coroner Dale Majhanovich said the three appeared to have succumbed to a combination of hypothermia and drowning.
