Man says image of Jesus appeared in spoon

MARSHALL COUNTY, Kentucky - People can buy just about anything on the Internet these days, but it takes something very unusual to make headlines.

It takes something special for it to sell for a whole lot of money.

However, one Marshall County, Kentucky man says he has something you'll take a second look at and might even want to buy. It's a spoon featuring a divine image.

JW Davis says this image has people talking.

"I have a spoon with the image of Jesus Christ on it," said Davis.

That's right, Jesus Christ.

Davis says look closely and you'll see the robe, the beard and the eyes.

"And he appears to be looking up" exclaims Davis.

The spoon is now for sale on eBay but Davis doesn't have a clue how much it may go for.

"I don't know. I have no idea, I'm just hoping that if I get rid of it, it's a blessing to somebody because of the image that's on it," said Davis.

JW's spoon isn't the only eBay item that's drawn attention or made headlines.

A Doritos chip shaped like the Pope's hat had people talking.

Remember the piece of bread with an image of the Virgin Mary toasted on it?

And most recently a cornflake shaped like the state of Illinois made the news.

Those items sold for big money - something Davis says he hopes will happen with his spoon.

Davis says ultimately he'd like to see the spoon on public display so everyone can see it.
