USA Today reported on Wednesday the $3.5 billon costume industry is preparing for Lady Gaga to revolutionize what adults are wearing on Oct. 31.
"As a personality, Lady Gaga is the single most popular costume we've sold for adults in our 59 years in business," Howard Beige, executive vice president of Rubie's Costume Co., said.
Johnathon Weeks, the creative director for online costumer Brands on Sale, says the red Alexander McQueen Lady Gaga outfit has been selling great for adults, along with the white MTV Video Music Awards outfit she wore in 2009.
"The teen sizes are [selling] out of control," Weeks said of the Gaga costumes, which are officially licensed to the store.
Along with the adult and teen Gaga costumes being sold by Brands on Sale, there is also a way to make your little bundle of joy look just like the Lady herself.
The red Alexander McQueen dress has been made into a costume for little ones who want to be Baby Gaga on Halloween.
