Fire truck sprays ice water on DougCo deputies

CASTLE ROCK - Douglas County staff, volunteers and friends accepted the "Ice Bucket" challenge and were able to raise $1,000.

The "Ice Bucket" challenge is based on the Internet sensation where groups have ice water dumped over themselves in order to raise money for a charity.

The rules are simple: Record yourself getting a bucket of ice water dumped over your head and call out the next five challengers on social media.

If you do not accept the challenge, you must donate $100 to the charity.
