Funeral procession for lost fish held at Cherry Cricket

Dinner at the recently reopened Cherry Cricket was a little louder than normal Thursday night.

DENVER - Dinner at the recently reopened Cherry Cricket was a little louder than normal Thursday night.

A funeral procession was held to honor three friends of the restaurant.

The popular Cherry Creek restaurant reopened this week after a fire back in November.

The only casualties from that fire were three fish.

Thursday night, they were remembered in a ceremony that took place in front of the fish tanks. It included bagpipes, drums, speeches and even tiny caskets for the very special fish.
