Suspect arrested in Weld County woman's death

MEAD - A Mead man has been arrested for First Degree Murder after a woman was found shot to death inside a Weld County home.

The 51-year-old woman had been shot multiple times in the head according to the sheriff's office. She was found dead Wednesday morning in the 100 block of Hunters Cove Road in Mead.

Late Wednesday, Ronald Budler, 49, was arrested. He's being held at the Weld County Jail on a charge of First Degree Murder.

The name of the woman will be released by the Weld County Coroner's Office after their investigation and all family has been notified.
