Wisc. ticket wins $31.4 million Powerball jackpot

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A ticket sold in Wisconsin matched all six of the numbers drawn to win last night's Powerball jackpot worth $31.4 million.

Wednesday's winning numbers were 5-15-25-30-and-40. The Powerball was 6 and the multiplier was 2.

Two Power Play tickets sold in Indiana and Tennessee matched the first five numbers only to win $1 million each.

Colorado's top prize was $20,000 for a Power Play ticket that matched the Powerball, plus four of the other numbers.

The jackpot will be worth an estimated $20 million on Saturday.

Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001.

It's now played in 30 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
