FULTON, Miss. - One rescue dog will do anything to be with its owner - including climbing a ladder.

A Blue Heeler named "Blue" climbed an aluminum ladder to the top of a building in Fulton. It's there that Blue's owner was doing some roofing work.

The dog didn't need any help getting to the top, but its owner stayed just behind the dog to provide some moral support. Once on the roof, Blue was safely brought down wearing a harness.

Blue was rescued five years ago, and goes out on the job every day with its master who really didn't teach the dog to climb the ladder. He says Blue just decided to do it on its own one day.

"He used to sit in my truck and wait for me when I was working. He'd just lounge around the truck. But once he figured out he could go up, there's no stopping him now," Bervia Hooghouse, Blue's owner, said.

The dog's owner has another Blue Heeler besides Blue, which is also a rescue dog.
