GOLDEN - A local fourth grader feels so passionately about his cause that he made a video to try and inspire others.
Ten-year-old Brooks Wood says he feels badly about all the animals who live in shelters, so he decided to do something about it.
With the help of his mom, he put together a montage of animals up for adoption at Foothills Animal Shelter.
"I just really wanted to help the animals and to get them out of the cages and really get a family and feel what it's like to love instead of having to experience bars and cages for their whole life," Brooks said.
Brooks hopes to update the video every month to reflect the ever-changing population at the shelter.
