Fort Carson units headed for Afghanistan, Iraq

FORT CARSON (AP) - About 90 soldiers from two Fort Carson units are preparing to deploy to Afghanistan and Iraq.

Fort Carson officials said Friday the 43rd Sustainment Brigade's Headquarters Company will go to Afghanistan and the brigade's 60th Ordnance Company will go to Iraq. Each will be deployed for a year.

A flag-casing ceremony marking the deployment preparations is planned for Monday.
