DENVER - Walmart isn't waiting. The retail giant began its Black Friday sales this weekend, well before Thanksgiving.
The world's largest retailer has begun the first of several one-week electronics events, with prices on laptops starting at less than $300 and a popular gaming console for less than $200. That also comes with a $100 gift card for a future purchase.
Quantities are limited and there are no rain checks.
The kicker is: You can go ahead and get that Thanksgiving meal, too.
Walmart is offering 12-pound turkeys for less than $5. That's 40 cents per pound.
