Forty-nine-year-old Peter W.S. Grigg also was sentenced Thursday to five years of probation and to forfeit assets including nearly $17,000 in cash and nine firearms. His home detention was to begin Jan. 1.

Grigg was indicted in January and pleaded guilty in August.

According to a plea agreement filed in U.S. District Court in Denver, Grigg had met with undercover police officers four times outside of his legitimate medical practice to sell them Oxycodone, Fentanyl and Ecstasy last year.
