Driver crashes into Bed Bath & Beyond window

DENVER - It was not the window display employees were hoping for at a local Bed Bath & Beyond.

Around 11:30 a.m. on Friday, 50-year-old woman drove into the display window of the store next to the Cherry Creek Shopping Center.

According to Bed Bath & Beyond, no one in the store was injured. It has no estimate on the damage.

The store says it will not be closed for any damage repair.

The driver told 9NEWS she put her foot on her brake and it didn't work.

"I turned into the parking spot and I went to put my foot on the brake and the car kept going," she said. "I don't know whether it was the brakes or I hit the wrong thing, I don't know."
