KUSA - Flurries along the Front Range will end Sunday morning as the clouds producing them clear out. That will leave only extreme southern Colorado as a potential travel trouble spot with rain and snow. ![]() According to 9NEWS Meteorologist Ashton Altieri, Denver and the urban corridor will see mostly sunny skies on Sunday. But cooler air behind a cold front that passed Saturday will keep temperatures in the middle 40s on Sunday despite the sunshine. Farther to the south a separate Pacific storm system will bring rain and snow south of U.S. Highway 50 through Sunday evening. Mountain areas north of Highway 50 will not see significant accumulation. Most of the Interstate 70 corridor through the high country will see less than 2 inches and some mountain communities will not see any accumulation. The chance for snow north of U.S. Highway 50 will end by midday Sunday. Sunny and somewhat warmer weather will return for Monday and Tuesday. (Copyright KUSA*TV, All Rights Reserved)
