LONGMONT - A Fort Collins woman has been released from a Longmont hospital after being involved in a crash that ended with five injured and one pick-up truck crashing into a Blockbuster Video store, according to a hospital spokeswoman. ![]() Cindra Kline was hospitalized after a Subaru Outback driven by her husband Bruce was struck by a Dodge pickup driven by a man Longmont police say may have been intoxicated. The Klines and their 17-year-old daughter Kelsie were all injured after their car was flipped onto the driver side. Investigators say around 9:30 p.m. Saturday the blue Dodge pickup driven by 37-year-old Steven Williams of Longmont slammed into the Klines' Subaru at 17th Avenue and Hover Street. Longmont Police say the impact sent the Subaru flying into a curb and the truck crashing through Cuppy's coffee shop and then a Blockbuster store. Police say Williams, a Longmont resident, sped through an intersection before slamming into the Klines' vehicle, which then crashed into a Chevy Blazer driven by 21-year-old Maricruz Gutierrez. Williams was hospitalized and is still listed as being in "good" condition at Longmont United Hospital. Three employees were inside the Blockbuster when it happened, but no one was injured inside the store. "I don't know what happened. All this stuff pushed me forward and I thought a bomb went off," Blockbuster employee Danielle Robertson said. Police suspect alcohol and drugs were factors in the crash. Charges against Williams are pending. This story was written by Nate Taylor, Fort Collins Coloradoan. (Copyright Fort Collins Coloradoan, All Rights Reserved)
