METROMIX: RELIVING MILE HIGH MUSIC FESTIVAL 2010
Promoter AEG Live announced Tuesday the festival will not be held due to the economy.
"It was not an easy decision to put the festival on hold," Chuck Morris, President and CEO of AEG Live Rocky Mountain Region, said. "We are really proud of the event, and we're not ruling out the possibility of bringing it back in the future."
The multiple-day music fest, which began in 2008, has played host to acts like Dave Matthews Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, John Mayer, Widespread Panic, Tool, The Fray and Jack Johnson. The festival would have marked its fourth year at Dick's Sporting Goods Park this summer.
