The Daily Camera says it is not a drug-resistant strain and there is not outbreak from the disease.
Doctors with the Denver Metro TB Control Program say it was confirmed the student had TB at the end of the holidays.
The school sent out a letter to parents on Tuesday morning about the illness. The letter said the school would contact any students or staff who were exposed to the student.
