KUSA - A new website is making it easier for minorities to connect with corporate America.

Robert Johnson, the founder of the RLJ companies and the founder of Black Entertainment Television, has created OppsPlace in an effort to include minorities seeking jobs in corporate America. They are looking at how corporations can enhance their existing diversity.

The website, which launched on Feb. 13, is designed to make it easy for companies to reach talented minorities. The idea is to give everyone a fair shot at employment in hopes of diversifying the workforce.

"This is giving you a bigger pool of opportunity, and so you get not only your local market place, you get the national market place. This is more choices, and more chances to be heard," Johnson said.

OppsPlace is free to job seekers and the minority firm. For more information, please visit www.rljcompanies.com.
