Sellers are getting multiple offers and they are usually higher than the listing price. Buyers are seeing the benefits of interest rates that are historically low.
Ty Dokken, a real estate expert and Metro Broker's incoming 2013 president, said as we move into a seller's market, people need to know that properties aren't staying on the market long. On average, a property may sit on the market for around 33 days. Dokken says now is the time to buy and sell.
