Cooler air has settled into the state and the temperature difference will be 10 to 15 degrees lower. Temperatures in the plains are expected to reach 80 to 85 degrees, 70s in Foothills and high valleys, and 60s to 70s in the high country.
Although cloudy skies will get the day started on Saturday, cloud coverage will dissipate late in the morning. Only a slight chance of showers can be expected around Park County this afternoon, but storms are not expected to be severe.
Saturday evening skies will be mostly clear with light winds. Overnight lows will be cool with 50s over the plains and even some 30s and 40s in the mountains.
The cooler and dry weather will not last very long. By Sunday the temperatures will climb back into the 90s, with showers likely in southern Colorado.
