The Buff's 123rd and the Ram's 115th seasons of college football will kick off against each other on Sept. 1. Tickets are still available for the game and there are plenty of activities to make an entire weekend out of the Rocky Mountain Showdown.

As part of the Rocky Mountain Showdown weekend, Denver Sports and the Denver Chamber of Commerce are launching the "Collaborate for Colorado" award.

The inaugural award recognizes both universities and their significant economic contribution to the Colorado during the economic recovery.
