The 21-year-old was walking alone when a man attacked her from behind and tried to sexually assault her.
It happened on Center Avenue near Research Boulevard in Fort Collins. She was able to fight off the attacker and run for help.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male with a thin build. He was described to be in his early 30s.
