The Daily Camera reports the man fell from atop the Boulderado rock formation while attempting to secure a rope for other climbers Sunday afternoon. His name wasn't immediately released.

Rescue crews also helped an injured hiker in Boulder County on Sunday.

Sheriff's Sgt. Lance Enholm says a 50-year-old man who fell about 30 feet while scrambling over difficult terrain in the Dream Canyon area sustained compound fractures to both legs. He was flown to a Denver hospital.
