Morgan Okolie was pulled from a pond at the Promenade at Town Center Apartments Friday night.
CPR was immediately performed but the boy later died at an area hospital.
Investigators with the Crimes Against Children unit say Okolie and his two older siblings were dropped off at a babysitter's apartment by their mother on her way to work.
It's not known if any charges will be filed.
