Earlier this year, Aurora Firefighter Jason Murphy was hit and killed on his bike on the way into work.
He left behind two young girls. The money raised will go towards his girl's education.
Friends of the Murphys started the first annual "Murphy Meet." Tickets were $10. There was an obstacle course for the kids, a band, food, and face painting.
They raised an estimated $5,000 for the two girls.
