The following schools were placed on lockout Wednesday afternoon but have since been lifted:
Columbine High School
Ken Caryl Middle School
Columbine Hills Elementary
Dutch Creek Elementary
Governors Ranch Elementary
Unlike a lockdown, where the school is sealed and students are restricted to a classroom, a lockout status means no one is allowed in or out of the schools but students are not restricted inside the school.
Police say a man stabbed a woman during a home invasion robbery at a townhouse complex at 6764 South Webster, in Jefferson County.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s around 5 feet 10 inches and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt, cap, and pants. Police also say he was wearing black eyeliner and lipstick.
Police say the suspect is still on the loose.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
