Nathaniel Mogus is charged with three counts of Invasion of Privacy for Sexual Gratification, a misdemeanor.
Police arrested Mogus late Sunday night in the 1600 block of 10th Avenue in Greeley after a witness reported to police that he saw the suspect at an apartment building peeping in the window of a female resident.
According to court documents, police tracked the suspect down in the neighborhood and found a digital camera in his possession. The camera was missing its memory card but police were able to locate a device on the ground in the area where Mogus was arrested.
In the arrest affidavit, police say they found several digital photographs on the memory card of women "who had their picture taken without them knowing it." The memory card also contained several photographs of the suspect.
The affidavit says police questioned Mogus about the device and he eventually admitted to taking pictures of two women. However, in a press release police say their investigation has revealed three separate victims whose pictures were taken on three separate dates.
The Greeley Police Department continues to actively investigate the case. Anyone with information is asked to call officers at 970-350-9605.
