Trot With The Troops is a sanctioned 5K chipped race by USA Track and Field. The event is Sunday morning, Sept. 9, at the Salisbury Equestrian Park in Parker.

Before the race, military troops will be trotting in formation, calling out cadence. Runners of all ages are welcome, and walkers are encouraged to take part too. The event is a fundraiser for FOB Summit County, a non-profit which helps wounded and active duty military transition to being productive veterans.

After the race, the event continues at Elk Mountain Brewing in Parker at noon where there will be food, live entertainment, and various items up for auction.
