The officer was heading to a burglary call in an unmarked Chevy Tahoe.
When he got to Alameda and Havana he tried to move into a turn lane. That's when a pick truck also tried to move into the same lane causing the crash.
The officer was hurt, but not seriously. The driver of the pickup truck was transported to the hospital as a precaution.
