Officials said there has been an increase in thefts since school started due to unlocked and unattended offices and laboratories.

The suspect is described as a white male with blond hair, usually in a braid. He carries a large tan backpack and may be using Transfort to get around. A surveillance photograph can be viewed at safety.colostate.edu.
