The store is implementing new security measures. A spokesperson says there will be an armed guard at the Colfax Avenue store when it opens Tuesday.
In addition to Friday's attempted armed robbery and armed standoff, a source says the store was also robbed four weeks ago.
Several other RadioShack stores in the metro area have been the target of thieves as well.
