The fire started around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in a training area on the Army post near Colorado Springs.
There's no immediate estimate on how large the fire is.
Firefighters from the post's fire department as well as Cheyenne Mountain and the Colorado Springs fire departments are working on the fire.
