Jason Sadler took his Ponte Vedra Beach wardrobe and decided to cash in.
"Yep, T-shirt money buy the milk, bread, eggs [and] pays the mortgage," Sadler said.
A year ago, Sadler wore a T-shirt from a different sponsor each day while making social-media posts and web videos to promote the company. He earned upwards of $1,000 a day to do it. Nowadays, he's got several shirt-wearing employees and nearly 40,000 Twitter followers.
His company is called I Wear Your Shirt.com.
"Yeah, I figure you gotta cover bigger things every year," Sadler said.
For example, his sponsor now is Buzztime Trivia - a trivia game played at bars around the country. Instead of just saying the product is great, they're road-tripping in a T-shirtmobile to play the games with people.
"We're doing all this through social media," Sadler said.
They're all getting paid to do it.
"It all comes back to being creative. Whether you're running a business, trying to get a job, doing anything - creativity always stands above the rest," Sadler said.
