G.I. Joe, Transformers and Lego Building Blocks have been selected as the top iconic toys over the last 100 years.
Patrons of the Children's Museum of Indianapolis announced the results of more than 24,000 votes by the public over eight weeks this summer.
After the initial five weeks of voting, a list of 100 toys was trimmed to 20, and a second vote decided the top three.
Barbie finished fourth and the View-Master was fifth.
Other favorites included bicycles, Cabbage Patch Kids, Crayons, Play-Doh, the Monopoly board game and Raggedy Ann.
The top 20 toys are now on display at the museum.
