Mine expansion approved in memorial dispute

In 1986, Wayne Tease fell into a 1,000 foot mine in Teller County and died. Crews were unable to recover his body.

Tease's mother traveled here from Utah to speak at a mining board meeting Wednesday morning.

While the board approved the mine's expansion permit, it recommended the mine and Tease's family work out their issues.
