Rumored for months, the company confirmed Wednesday its first store will be opening at Colorado Boulevard and East 8th Avenue sometime in 2013.

The Denver store will have a separate beer and wine store next to the grocery store where the chain's famous Two-Buck Chuck will be on the shelf.

Trader Joe's has another location opening in Boulder in 2013.
