"It's dissapointing if you're looking for that caffiene buzz late at night and you don't have trouble sleeping. But some people think they're actually doing you a favor by cutting down on the caffiene. It would be nice to know though a head of time. But I guess waiters need to cut down on their cleanup time," Reader's Digest Executive Editor Barbara O'dair said.
O'dair also found that even at the best breakfast buffet in the world, 99 times out of 100, the big pan of scrambled eggs is made from a powder.
"You don't always know if you're getting fake food or not. In this case, if they're are trying to feed a lot of people, powdered eggs is the way they go," O'dair said.
Waiters also admitted to lying to vegetarian customers, "They will always say that they use vegetable stock if you ask. But the likelihood is they don't. And if you're a vegetarian you should be wary of this and assume that if they say they're using vegetable stock that they are not. If that's really unacceptable to you- you may want to think again about what you're ordering."
