Police were called out to the Quentin Conifer Creek Apartments after three men approached a person in the parking lot and took their phone and demanded money. When the victim refused to give the suspects money, one of them allegedly pulled out a gun.

The suspects then ran across the street towards the Wind Ridge Apartments. A perimeter was set up around Peoria Street and Iliff Avenue.

As a precaution, Overland High School and Prairie Middle School were placed on lockdown.

Police say the incident is more of a manhunt and not considered a standoff situation.
