Pompeii, which was one of the more-vibrant cities in ancient Rome, was consumed by volcanic ash centuries ago. It has since been restored and released to the public.
The exhibit will be on display starting Friday and run through Jan. 13, 2013.
The city's homes, gardens and businesses will be featured at the exhibit as well as a description of the deadly volcanic eruption that led to the city's demise.
To buy tickets, you can log onto www.dmns.org/pompeii or call 303-370-6000.
