Cherry Creek sophomore Jordyn Colter set the all-time meet record, winning the Division 1A girls title with a time of 17:00.6. Colter, who is the defending girls cross country state champion, smashed the previous record of 17:33.8 set by Highlands Ranch' Eleanor Fulton in 2010.
Fort Collins' Erin Hooker finished in second place with a time of 17:37.8 followed by Fairview's Isabelle Kennedy at 17:39.2. Fort Collins took the Division 1A girls team title.
On the boys Division 1A side, Rock Springs' (Wyoming) Ricky Faure won the individual title in 15:30.7. Cherry Creek's Alec Brudzinski (15:42.2) and Arapahoe's Danny Vavrik (15:47.9) finished second and third respectively. Fairview won the team title.
