D'Evelyn (1-3) went into the break trailing when quarterback Connor Mateer fumbled a snap on his own one yardline and Central (0-3) linebacker Conner Williamson recovered in the endzone for the touchdown.

The Jaguars opened the second half with a bang. On fourth down Mateer hit Ty McGee for a 20-yard touchdown to tie the game.

On Central's ensuing possession Noah Sanchez was stripped and Connor Skelton recovered and returned the fumble 46 yards for the go-ahead touchdown.

After forcing a Central punt the Jaguars faced a 3rd and 31, but Mateer found Skelton for a 64 yard touchdown pass.

D'Evelyn hosts Alameda on Friday at 6 PM. Grand Junction Central hosts Green Mountain Friday night at 7 PM.
