The family was in their yard Sunday night on Oswego when the car jumped the curb.

The dad pushed family members out of the way, including the 11-year-old who was sideswiped by the car.

The boy was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

The driver only had minor injuries.

The house did not suffer major structural damage.
