Taveaun Williams, 19, and Michael Annan, 23, are both charged with attempted first-degree murder, second-degree kidnapping, aggravated robbery and two sentence-enhancing accounts of crime of violence.
Williams and Annan are accused of holding the store's manager hostage and shooting at police during a robbery attempt. The six-hour standoff ended when Williams and Annan surrendered. No one was hurt.
Williams and Annan are each being held on $200,000 bond at the Denver Detention Center. They are scheduled to appear in court Sep. 19 at 9:30 a.m.
