Hundreds of people turned out for the grand opening of Pizza Brain this month in Philadelphia's Fishtown neighborhood. It's a restaurant where visitors can eat a slice or two of artisan pie while gawking at a pizza-related photos, records, knickknacks and videos. 

Though only a portion of the massive collection is on display, Dwyer says the items will be rotated so there's always something new to see.

Dwyer says he and his business partners have been overwhelmed by the positive response. 

He says it's because pizza is "the great equalizer" and the food that everyone can agree on.
