The investigation on Koca started on Aug. 29 after an alleged victim came forward. However, due to Koca's extensive contact over the past several decades with juveniles through his work with several nonprofit organizations that primarily serve children, police are concerned there may be more victims.
Koca was the founder and former CEO of Stand Up for Kids. Stand Up for Kids is a nonprofit that serves at-risk homeless youth. It was founded in 1990.
Koca is a retired naval officer who spent 30 years in the U.S. Navy. He has traveled all over the world. He also served as a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America in Panama and volunteered for an orphanage in England.
