The Denver Post reports the woman, now 23, told Denver jurors Tuesday that she discussed religion and philosophy with Noel Bertrand of Portland, Ore., before the bar closed. She says the two then moved to another location where she says he attacked after she refused his request for a kiss.
Two airline mechanics ran to intervene.
The woman was headed to a program on how to teach Catholicism at the time.
Bertrand's attorney, Wadi Muhaisen, told jurors in opening statements that the woman had rough, consensual sex with Bertrand, then regretted it.
