After waiting in line for hours, and sometimes days, people are finally getting their hands on the new iPhone 5. It went on sale Friday.

Those waiting in line at this Washington Apple store say they're excited about the new thinner, lighter, faster phone. The latest version of Apple's wildly-popular smartphone is virtually guaranteed to be the company's best-selling version. Apple took more than 2-million pre-orders in the first 24-hours, and analysts expect a total of 10-million phones to be sold by Monday.

Store inventories are expected to go fast. In fact, Apple says it has already sold out of iPhone 5s, so online orders won't ship for another three-to-four weeks.

The new iPhone won't be available for another week in 22 countries. And a release date in China still hasn't been set.
