Franklin has become a celebrity in her home state after winning four gold medals and a bronze last month. She is throwing out the first pitch at the Colorado Rockies game Saturday night. Two weeks ago she was introduced before the Denver Broncos home opener.
Franklin is a senior at Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora and is currently visiting colleges before choosing where she will attend school next year.
