Last month, Boston cops busted the hotel for offering bubbly, saying it violated a Massachusetts law that bans free liquor. The hotel had temporarily stopped offering an alcoholic beverage as a result.

But the Boston Licensing Board last week ruled in the hotel's favor by declaring that no violation had been found.
That means guests can again expect a glass of bubbly at check-in time.
The Beacon Hill hotel is one of the hotels marketed under Starwood's Luxury Collection.
